Print addresses on A7 envelopes
Skip the labels and print each address straight onto an A7 envelope (5¼″ × 7¼″), the size that fits 5 × 7 cards and photo cards. Free, no account.
Free. No account needed to print.
A7 envelopes measure 5¼ by 7¼ inches. They're the envelope that comes with most 5 × 7 holiday cards, photo cards, invitations and announcements. Printing the address right on the envelope skips the label entirely and looks clean and finished.
Labeltime makes one page per envelope, with the address placed where the Postal Service's machines expect to read it: right of center, clear of the edges, with the bottom strip left empty for the barcode they print.
Before you print a stack
- Check your printer's envelope instructions. Every printer feeds envelopes a little differently: face up or face down, flap left or right. The manual, or a small picture on the paper tray, shows which way.
- Choose the right paper size. In the print dialog, pick "A7 envelope" or set a custom size of 5.25 × 7.25 inches, landscape. Print at 100% or "Actual size".
- Try one first. Print the first page on a plain sheet of paper cut to size, or on a single envelope, before you load the stack.
- Feed a few at a time. Most home printers handle envelopes best in small batches. If they skew, slide the paper guides in until they just touch the edges.
Envelope or label?
Printing on the envelope looks the most polished, but it's slower: envelopes feed one by one, and some printers are fussy about them. Labels print thirty at a time on an ordinary sheet and stick on in a minute. If your printer struggles with envelopes, Avery 5160 labels are a reliable fallback.
Return addresses
Put your return address in the top-left corner of the front, or on the back flap. Many people use a small return-address stamp or a sheet of return labels for this.

Paste your addresses, answer any questions, and download a PDF lined up to the sheet.
